In 2011 we started our small business Sweets, Eats N Country Treats. We had a small store for about a year, then we had our son who got diagnosed with Autism and needed more support so we had to close the shop.
Since then we have been setting up at our local market, craft shows, vendor fairs and Agricultural fairs. We sell Jams, Jellies, Preserves, Relishes, Handcrafts, Crochet items Decor and more. This business is what allows us to take summer vacations, weekend trips and pay for Christmas for our family.
Now the genius making our Jams and jellies and preserves is my Hubby Shawn. He is so talented in the kitchen, I just give him flavor combos and he finds recipes and always makes it work. Now I am writing this post at 11pm on Saturday night and he is in the kitchen Slicing cucumbers for pickles.... It never ends this creative process. He works 7am to 5pm, comes home has supper and then is in the kitchen coming up with new ideas or just replenishing our stock.

On a side note..... we have decided to continue with the homeschool journey with our son, and I wanted to share this great book that I found tonight... its a Math Pedia book that spans grade 3 to 8
